When we founded Valley Light Home in 2011, we committed to do whatever we could to rescue orphaned and abandoned children. From the very beginning, we decided to only take in children who had no known relatives to care for them. The vision burned deeply in our souls, and we knew God had called us to the work. Over the years, we have gained deeper understanding of exactly what we have been called to do. This is God's work. It is God's vision. Our role is simply to be a link in the chain whose purpose goes far beyond anything we could ever have designed or imagined. God continually recruits others to join the chain, and he will carry it on to completion.
